The Chicken Shed Chardonnay comes from vines next to the neighbour's chicken sheds, which inspired the name.
The philosophy behind the Chicken Shed Chardonnay is to make a wine which has the rich white peach, nectarine, lime flavours common to Chardonnay and a small amount of oak flavour from short term barrel maturation. This is not your heavy, oaky chardonnay, but a lighter refreshing style with delicious fruit flavours and a slightly toasty back palate. A fresh, crisp style of Chardonnay.
