Carignan Noir is one of the great Mediterranean grapes. Today it may not be widely known. In old times, it was a Star in the Languedoc.
To capture the essence, yields are limited by growing vines on stony soil with traditional gobelet pruning. It gives rich dark fruit and spice notes with ample freshness.
VINTAGE: 2020
ORIGIN: Roquessels, Hérault, IGP Pays d’Oc
GRAPES : Carignan Noir

TASTING: Carafe the wine for 15-20 minutes before drink. The 2020 vintage has elevated aroma with heaviness tannin, yet remains fresh with lasting finish. This wine displays tranquil dark chocolate colour, aromas of rich dark fruit and spice, a very delightful wine after letting the wine breathe for a while. It pairs very well with dark chocolate for leisure, stir-fried black pepper beef, or your daily meals. Chill the wine before serving.
"This wine comes from a small appellation that we love, but 100% Mourvèdre is illegal there. To allow you to discover it, we had to declassify it to "Vin de France.“ Et voilà! Now you can taste this wine full of fruit, spice and character."
-- Olivier Coste

Carignan Blanc is a rare Mediterranean grape varietal. Only 250 hectares remain, mostly in Languedoc. RARE-Carignan Blanc comes from a 70-year-old plot planted next to the sea.
We like it for its originality, vivacity, floral aromas and long finish.
VINTAGE: 2021
ORIGIN: Castelnau-de-Guers, Hérault, Vin de France
GRAPES: Carignan blanc
SOILS: Limestone
Alcohol Content: 12.5%
TASTING: "The colour is pale and bright with a very faint greenish tinge and it has quite a delicate nose – lightly floral with pears and a whisp of herbs and citrus. The palate is rounded and supple, almost a little oily in texture like Vermentino or Sémillon, but with a backbone of citrus acidity and minerality to carry the juicy pear fruit and streak of green apple and white pepper.
It opens up in the glass, so give it swirl and allow it time to relax, then enjoy it as an aperitif or with sushi, fish, including fritto misto, or squid, light pasta dishes or salads and vegetables sprinkled with dukkah or served with walnut tarator sauce." - by Joanna Simon, a Wine & Food writer in U.K, author of "World of Fine Wine".
This wine is fresh and floral with great minerality, a rare white varietal that matches vegetable salad well. It goes with white fish, seafood, poultry too. Chilled for better experience.
