
Since his childhood , Olivier’s favourite places to play have been the vineyards and the wine cellar at his family’s wine estate founded in 1701 in Pézenas. With this upbringing , he developed a passion for nature and Languedoc wines .
Our orange wine is an homage to antiquity. It’s a white wine vinified like a red, by macerating the grapes before pressing.
GRAPES: 90% Muscat petits grains, 10% Grenache gris
SOILS: Calcareous-clay
VINIFICATION: Grapes are destemmed prior to maceration in concrete tanks. Traditional vinification at 18°- 24° C (65-75 F) with some light pump overs to obtain an orange color without bitterness. After 7 days of maceration, we gently press the grapes. The free run and press juices are separated and fined individually. Once both are clarified, they are blended and aged in tanks for 5 months before bottling.
TASTING: We like it for its rich aroma and softs tannins, perfect for both your aperitifs and meals
