It's said that many of the very early red wines made were closer in appearance to today's rosés than they would be to modern red wines. This is because many of the winemaking techniques used to make today's darker, more tannic red wines (such as extended maceration and harder pressing) were not widely practiced in ancient winemaking. The Meditteranean region is one of the oldest wine-making regions in the world.
This bundle showcases three colours of wines in the modern Mediterranean winemaking techniques:  a white, a pink and a red, from Domaine Montrose, who has been making wines since 1701.

VIOGNIER - The Atypical White

Our Viognier is purposely atypical! It is livelier and less exuberant than those of most of our colleagues.

We like it for its freshness and most importantly for its balance. Drink young.
