Our Viognier is purposely atypical! It is livelier and less exuberant than those of most of our colleagues.
We like it for its freshness and most importantly for its balance. Drink young.

APPELLATION: /GP Cotes de Thongue
SOILS: calcareous-clay and siliceous-clay gravel
GRAPES: 100% viognier
ALCOHOL: 13%
WINEMAKING: each terroir is vinified separately. Grapes are destemmed before a skin contact or direct pressing. Fermentation temperature is maintained between 15°C and 18°C (59- 640F) to retain fruit aromas. Wines resulting from both terroirs are blended after fermentation and then aged in stainless steel vats. Wine is bottled during Winter and Spring.
TASTING NOTES: light yellow color with green hints. Nose and flavors of exotic fruits, mango, cut hay
SERVING: Enjoy it chilled on its own or with fish, shellfish, Asian food, cheeses.Chill the wine before serving.

SOILS: Sourced from a rigorous selection of the best Languedoc vineyards.
GRAPES: Grenache, cinsault
ALCOHOL: 12.5%
VOLUME: 750ml
WINEMAKING: Grapes are harvested at night to preserve freshness. They are destemmed before a short skin contact or direct pressing. Fermentation temperature is maintained between 15°C to 18°C (59°F to 64°F) to retain fruit aromas. Wines resulting from the different terroirs and grapes are blended after fermentation and then aged in stainless steel vats. It is bottled during winter and spring. Domaine Montrose is a pioneer of rosé winemaking in the Languedoc. It has become a benchmark for rosé wines in the region and beyond.
TASTING: Light and bright color. The bouquet reveals red berries and citrus flavors. Elegant wine with a nice freshness.
SERVING: Enjoy it chilled on its own or with raw vegetables, salads, charcuterie or grilled fish.

SOILS: volcanic, calcareous-clay and siliceous-clay gravel
GRAPES: 60% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
ALCOHOL: 13.5%
TASTING NOTES: garnet red color. Nose of red fruit, blackcurrant and cocoa. The mouth is crunchy and round.
SERVING: Enjoy it slightly chilled on its own, or with grilled meat, pastas or cheeses. Chill the wine before serving.
HVE3 CERTIFICATION AND CARBON NEUTRAL: Domaine Montrose has been certified with "HVE3 - High Value Environmental Level 3" by French Agricultural Department. Their wine are also certified as "Carbon Neutral" wines.
