The classic Hunter Valley Shiraz, this wine is medium to full bodied with rich mulberry and blackberry flavours, smooth tannins and a subtle hint of spice. Excellent with seared rump of Peking duck or a big, fat T-bone on the BBQ! Drinking now, or cellar to 5 years.

"This was a drought year. This much acidity is simply unnatural. Well constructed, all the same. A full-weighted red with a more refined carapace of tannin than its '17 predecessor, but without its rustic charm and developed complexities. This is still virile and youthful in comparison. Sweet cherry, clove, bergamot, new-car-seat leather and a loamy warmth careen along a lattice of vibrant acidity and the aforementioned tannins. Paradoxically light of feel due to the uncanny freshness." - Halliday Wine Companion 2022
